Ok, folks, how do I write this page without sounding arrogant or self-serving? The main reason I’m including this page at all is to give you a little idea about the person writing this site. It is my hope that, once you know a little bit about me, you’ll read the words here in the “voice” that I intended when I wrote them.
I’m a 48 year-old man, originally from Culpeper, Virginia, who know calls Arizona home. I’ve lived in the Grand Canyon state for over 25 years.
In my life, I’ve also been a preacher, an author, an accountant, a pro wrestling performer & promoter, a computer techie and many other things. The titles I’m most proud of are husband and father.
I met the love of my life at a pro wrestling convention when I was just 19. She was 25. If Facebook had been around then, I would have told the world!
Because I tend to be a joker and a bit of a ham, people assume that I am extroverted, but that’s not the case. I’m actually a fairly shy and reserved person. I just put on a good stage face to help me function in society.
After 28 years of marriage, my world was rocked to its very core when my beautiful wife, Cindy, passed away at the age of 54. August 1, 2015 will forever go down in history as the worst day I’ve ever lived through.
I’m sure I’ll add to this page as time goes on, but for now, this should give you enough information to get started. Just know that I am a genuine person. I don’t believe in hidden agendas or ulterior motives in life. I try hard to love everybody and to make people laugh and smile. With me, “what you see is what you get.” A good friend one time said I was “exactly as advertised.” I kind of like that.
